Exporting your monthly rent data from Leasecake allows you to easily integrate rent payments into your accounts payable system, manage cash flow, and ensure accuracy for budgeting, financial reporting, and audits. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to export your monthly rent information.
These reports can be pulled at the Location level, Company level, or Parent Company level. You will follow the same steps, just beginning in a different module.
Step 1: Navigate to the Lease Accounting tab.
Step 2: Click the report selector arrow.
We strongly recommend that all accounts switch to using the new Monthly Rent report instead of the old Monthly Rent Journal Entry report. The new report offers improved features. The old Monthly Rent Journal Entry report will continue to remain available temporarily to allow for a smooth transition. 👍

You can pull rent expenses by lease or consolidated (when generating the report at the Company level).
Step 3: Choose the time period for your report.
Step 4: Export to Excel
If the file is too large, you can leave the Leasecake page, and we’ll email you a download link in a few minutes.
Monthly Rent Income Reports
If your portfolio in Leasecake also includes Income Leases, you will be able to pull these same reports to see your rent income. Follow the same steps as above but select the Monthly Rent Income report instead.
